About the project and methodology

Emkosteklo is a reference and catalog resource about sight glass fittings on industrial vessels: reactors, mixers, tanks, silos. The site helps determine the construction class, verify units and geometry, and prepare a correct inquiry for the vendor.

Methodology: every safety-relevant value carries a link to a primary source — a standard overview or manufacturer documentation. If a confirmed value is missing, it is not published at all; the page honestly shows “to be confirmed”.

The site is not a manufacturer and does not claim dealer relationships. Product cards appear only for documentally confirmed products, with the source and review date stated.

All calculation tools run locally in the browser and perform only verifiable operations: geometry and unit conversion. The tools do not issue chemical-resistance or strength conclusions.
